FoundThis morning I woke upInto a dream of Revelations, An epiphany into my soul, A light too dark to see; I came to see myself, It was a blessing realization, The fantasy I knew was mine No longer could be me. Piles of Failed accomplishments Found their way to right themselves, And the lies I thought I’d made Had Broken as I saw; Now if the sun would shine at night, And day cast into shadow, Even at Death’s Door I would Have no regrets at all. I once saw myself As someone hiding away his face, Too afraid to let the world Know who I am, and see; But now I’m proud of what I’ve done, No steps I need to retrace, I’ve finally found the way I am, The way I want to be! All my lost accomplishments, Found out how to find themselves, Realization came to me I had not lied at all, Now if the sun would shine at night, And day cast into shadow, Even if it ended now, I know just where I’d fall. Now I can look around, Regaining my lost ground, Listening to your sound, Look at all I’ve found; My worries wash away, Cold dawn resides to day, Hear what I have to say, I’ve finally found my way! Let the sun shine through the nights, And cast away my shadows, Break away from all the fights, And see how life can be! Look within to who you are, Find what you need to know, Plant the seeds of love, for you Will reap what you have sown. |
