Welcome, friends! |

A little about myself: My name is Paul Trahey. I'm a student of Villanova University, studying Humanities and Theology. I'm a musician and a poet, a true friend, and a disciple of Christ. I'm six foot one, and Irish Italian. I love culture, I love tradition, and I love fellowship and brotherhood. Most of my friends will tell you that I'm like a personified bear: I love food, I love to nap, I have a huge heart, I'm stubborn, a little lazy, great to hug, slow to wake, and still a total beast. I love to sing: I sing with the Villanova Singers, a men's choral group; also with the pastoral musicians, who play the music for the University masses. I sing and play guitar in the band Resistansen along with my co-frontman and partner in crime, Dwight. Aside from writing music for Resistansen and my own side projects, I enjoy writing poetry, playing harmonica in the rain, helping folks untangle their lives, musing on human nature, building campfires, chopping wood, fishing, and dedicating my heart and soul to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. So! Go ahead and poke around the site. The poetry is in order of how recently it was written. The latest five or so were written within the past year, while some of the lower ones, which now seem a little jouvenile, were written as far back as when I was 11! If you like what you read, feel free to shoot me an email. Oh! And about the domain name. The name "Heaven from Hell" was borrowed from the Pink Floyd song, "Wish you were Here," arguably one of the best songs of all time. |
